Quiet Criminal in the Corner by ~goaskalice64:icongoaskalice64:

Just a dash of an
Existential melt down,
To blend with the cheddar

Atop your Campbell’s tomato soup.
And just a schizoid
Isolationism to accompany you
As you watch your weekly
Re-runs of Cold Case.

The Fox Broadcasting Network
Is here to keep you warm.
And Nabisco will always be around,
To hold your hand and end the search
Of your blindly-reaching
Five-fingered appendage.

We’re plagued by mental vacations,
As our sanity runs
Off to Tahiti for a one-night love affair
(He couldn’t take it anymore either).
Leaving you breathlessly searching,
For a patch of ground that isn’t
Warped and wiggling beneath
Your feet, forever and on seeking stability.

I have absolutely no idea where this came from, and I depressed myself a little as I wrote it, that was very strange :)

That was awesome...I love it when poetry relates to me. NICELY written.
